About HoMie

OUR MISSION

HoMie is a Melbourne-based streetwear label and social enterprise.
100% of HoMie’s profits go towards achieving its mission: to support young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

We do this by running two social impact programs:

The HoMie Pathway Alliance, HoMie’s own accredited retail education and employment program for young people (18-25) affected by homelessness or hardship.
2. HoMie’s VIP Days, where young people are welcomed into our store to shop for free HoMie garments, while enjoying haircuts, beauty services, personal care packs, and lunch with the HoMie team.

OUR IMPACT

3435+ Young People Supported

Since 2015, HoMie has had over 3435+ young people come through the HoMie Pathway Alliance and VIP Programs, that’s over 250 a year!

13,101 Items of Clothing Gifted

Every year, through our VIP Program, HoMie gifts over 1000 items of brand-new HoMie clothing to young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

6520+ Hours of Paid Education

Young people enrolled in the HoMie Pathway Alliance are paid to study a
Cert III in Business, while also being paid to undertake personal and
professional development classes.

17,000+ Hours of Employment

Young people have worked over 17,000 hours of paid retail employment at the HoMie store or with HoMie-trained partners (Champion, Nike, Sportsgirl).

$200,000+ Award Wages Paid

All young people enrolled in the HoMie Pathway Alliance are paid
according to the General Retail Industry Award – no ‘volunteering,’ ‘job readiness training’ or ‘payment in exposure’ with us!

90% Remain Employed

90% of Pathway Alliance Graduates are employed in meaningful work and/or are enrolled in further education 12-months post-program. Long-term, life-changing, impact.
